The Arawana Residence

A hillside sanctuary perched above Okanagan Lake. This is not just a modern designed home; it is total climate immunity. We optimized the Arawana residence to near-Passive House standards, delivering profound acoustic silence and a thermal envelope that refuses to compromise.

Material honesty leads the design. The striking contrast of dark corrugated metal against warm wood soffits grounds the structure into the rocky terrain. Cantilevered balconies hover above the landscape, blurring the boundary between the rugged exterior and the refined, light-filled interior, culminating in a striking infinity pool that bleeds into the mountain views.

The true luxury is invisible. A continuous thermal envelope, triple-glazed windows, and advanced HEPA ERV filtration systems ensure pristine indoor air, creating a multi-generational fortress against extreme heat and wildfire smoke. Flawless execution on this complex sloped site was guaranteed through rigorous BIM coordination, eliminating clashes and site errors before ground was ever broken.

Proven, not promised.
Zero compromise on design, performance, and craft.
